Serving Christ

We are glad to be serving the Lord in Cleveland, OK. We had an exciting month in February. The last Sunday of the month we celebrated the church's 39th anniversary and saw 136 in attendance that day. What a blessing!! That was more than double what we had last year. I'm already looking forward to our 40th anniversary because that Sunday we will have Bro. Bill Counts with us. He was the first pastor of Grace Baptist Church. Our anniversary Sunday was an exciting day as well in that we saw a lady accept Christ as Saviour during the morning service.

March is a slower month for us here. We do not have big activities planned in the church but we are continuing our service for the King. Our Wednesday night Patch Club continues to be an exciting time with all the kids. I love seeing all the children come in on the vans to learn more about Christ.

On a personal note, everyone in our house is adjusting to the new addition to the family. Baby Shelby is doing well and growing. Praise the Lord she sleeps well at night!

We are looking forward to a great day in God's House this Sunday and look forward to what God is going to do with and through GBC.

Sorry for the delay

I apologize for not giving an update on the church lately. We are excited to announce the arrival of our daughter, Shelby Taylor, on Feb 11th. Momma and baby are both doing well.

This year on Feb 26^th, we will be celebrating our 39^th anniversary as a church. We would like to invite anyone and everyone to come and spend the day with us. We will begin with Sunday School at 10am followed by an exciting worship service at 11am. There will be special music during the 11am service by Witness, a singing group from Heartland Baptist Bible College in Oklahoma City. Pastor Ron Lindsey from Suburban Baptist Church in Moore, OK will be bringing our message. After the morning service, we’d like to invite everyone to stick around and eat lunch with us. After lunch we will have an afternoon service in place of our usual evening service. It will be a day full of great music, wonderful food and powerful preaching. We would love to see you join us February 26^th as Grace Baptist celebrates 39 years of being a light for Christ in Cleveland, OK.

I'd like to say on a personal note that I count it a privilege to be the pastor of the church. It's amazing to me to think that this June will mark 2 years for my family and I here in Cleveland. It has been a blessing and we look forward to many more years here.
